SENIOR TECHNICIAN,HEATING&AIR CONDITIONING

A Senior Technician in Heating and Air Conditioning is a skilled professional who is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. They often have several years of experience in the field and may have completed advanced training or certifications. They may also be responsible for supervising other technicians, overseeing projects, and troubleshooting complex issues. They are responsible for keeping the HVAC system running efficiently and ensuring that it is in compliance with safety regulations.

Performs preventive maintenance, overhaul, repair and modification of all types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in Hospital Complex and Residential Areas.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Performs maintenance, overhaul and repair of HVAC systems, equipment and controls utilizing tools, materials and equipment to accomplish assigned repair, maintenance, modifications, installation or troubleshooting.

2. Assigns required job to subordinates. Ensures that the repair and maintenance of HVAC & Refrigeration equipment is being performed efficiently. Reviews operational schedule and assignment and ensure the maximum level of productivity.

3. Performs routine preventive maintenance throughout the Hospital Complexes and directs other workmen in this task assuring that work is performed in a safe and accurate manner.

4. Provides required recommendations regarding major overhaul or upgrading of related systems.

5. Performs repair, troubleshooting, inspection and testing of compressors, water chillers, coolers, freezers, ice machines, heating and cooling coils, humidifiers, associated controls, etc.; as required.

6. Performs site survey on new construction/renovation and review its blueprints & HVAC Designs and applications. Evaluates the minimum -maximum requirements for all materials relating to task.

7. Guides lower graded personnel.

8. Position may require rotation on various shifts to maintain 24 -hours coverage.

9. Follow all prescribed Hospital and departmental safety and other procedures.

10. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

11. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.

Education

B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

OR

Technical Diploma in related field is required.

Experience Required

Three (3) years of experience is required with B.S. Degree. Or Six (6) years of experience is required with Technical Diploma.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Saudi Driver's License — A driver's license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi Driver's License.
